Read the “Porch Rules” to understand our standards for respectful, Christ-centered dialogue and fellowship.

Our Commitment to One Another

Welcome to the porch. This is a space for fellowship, growth, and revival. To ensure our dialogue remains respectful and Christ-centered, we ask all members to abide by these standards:

1. Pull Up a Chair (Hospitality First)

We treat every member as a guest in our home. Use language that is kind, welcoming, and encouraging. Even when we disagree, we do so with the "salt and light" described in Colossians 4:6—gracious and seasoned with wisdom.

2. Speak the Truth in Love

Revival requires honesty, but it must be rooted in love. Avoid harsh rebukes, name-calling, or inflammatory language. Our goal is to build one another up, not to win an argument or tear someone down.

3. Keep it Christ-Centered

While we discuss many aspects of life, our foundation is Jesus Christ. We ask that discussions remain grounded in Biblical principles. Please avoid using the forum for secular political campaigning, commercial solicitation, or spreading unsubstantiated rumors.

4. Respect the Quiet Moments (No Spamming)

To keep the "Back Porch" peaceful, please avoid flooding the forum with repetitive posts, excessive links, or off-topic content. Quality of fellowship is more important than quantity of posts.

5. Protect the Fellowship

To maintain a safe environment for everyone:

  • Privacy: Respect the personal stories shared here; do not share members' private information outside the forum.
  • Conflict: If a disagreement becomes heated, take it to a private message or involve a moderator. Do not let "the sun go down on your anger" within a public thread.

6. Honor the House Rules

The moderators are here to keep the porch a safe space for all. We reserve the right to remove posts or accounts that are consistently divisive, profane, or contrary to our mission of Christ-centered revival.

“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.” — Ephesians 4:29
